BOW Study
Web Design, Print Design, Logo Design, & Figure Design | 2018 – Present
About the Study
The Birth Outcomes and Water (BOW) study investigates the link between maternal exposure to drinking water contaminants and birth defects. Researchers focus on the environmental factors affecting maternal and child health, particularly in Nebraska, where certain water contaminants may pose risks. The study collects demographic, health, and environmental data, along with biological samples like saliva and blood, to better understand how water quality impacts public health outcomes, with the goal of improving health through informed solutions. Design Contributions
Since the start of the BOW Study in 2018, I have been responsible for designing and maintaining the project's website, along with creating informative brochures to promote the study. Most recently, I developed a visually engaging figure design to enhance communication of the study's findings.
